Dreamweaver Coursebuilder extension in Captivate 4

I’ve seen a number of people asking about the Coursebuilder extensions that are installed to Dreamweaver CS4 in the Adobe eLearning Suite. and SCORM 2004 along with AICC. The selection can be made in the tracking tab. So I asked the Adobe engineers who have worked on this, and this is the response I got:-.

Over the years, I have used ToolBook, Trainersoft, and even Dreamweaver with Coursebuilder. I really prefer the robust ability of creating courses in Flash and only use the DHTML e-learning authoring tools for their ability to make the course SCORM or AICC compliant. These courses can be published as SCORM or AICC compliant courses.

And yes, folks running Training and L&D would take that data via the evaluation, and compute numbers to track the trends (or they should have) and what worked and didn’t work, based on the data. Other fun tidbits AICC was the leader here, then came SCORM. Dreamweaver then added templates, allowing folks to create courses.
