I can honestly say, the ATD show is changing from ILT driven (it has always been that way) to e-learning improvement. This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . NO SCORM or any course standard. Bottom Line.

Innovation abounded and the push to focus on the “PPT to Flash&# angle continued to shine. Also SCORM 1.2 & AICC. You get the Flash code – YES – you get the code, which you can do whatever you want with it. 264 codec, which the iPad supports, and a few browsers for HTML5. LMS, web, CD, etc.,

Best of all, whether you are utilizing AR in education (I see this as a massive win for all students) or at a business location, you are no longer stuck with courses, even sims that are either boring, lack constant engagement or as we all know, turn off folks who frankly do not like e-learning. HTML5 support – sorry Flash fans .
