Note : When I say publishing I am also referring to preparing the video for final output. Less vendors are offering the HTML5 output, which seems to be strange, especially as more e-learning vendors as a whole are jumping right in. Support (as in output) to AICC/SCORM – a major win! Video in e-learning means something quite different than video in its usual term. Screen recording and capture – often seen in demos or software or web tutorials. In 2002, a company created video courses that were AICC compliant and could be bookmarked. I mean really, this is a learning platform, so why does it look like some archaic solution that doesn’t even resemble, something that screams “Wow&# to an end user? It is understandable.sort of. It was revoluntary. So, what killed it?

Many people today prefer 3rd party authoring tools and in fact, I recommend that route rather then using a vendor’s built in authoring tool. SCORM, AICC. Offers e-commerce module: Yes.
