What about AICC? Unless you purchased a tool that is only AICC compliant, which in that case, time to ditch it and get another one. If you purchased an AICC only, then you have to find a system that is AICC compliant. It can be SCORM too, but the AICC is the key. . What about PENS or some other compliance standard?

At least SCORM support – Plenty still support AICC. Only a few support PENS, which is a shame, because it really does some very cool things. One sim tool I know costs 25K per license, but the majority of pure sim tools in the market cost way way below that. . 2004, AICC, PENS, TinCan) would be equally relevant. Hierarchy/Tree view – Focused on course elements, objects, etc. Albeit there are some tools that do not work with nor accept any compliance standards.
