Then there are LXPs, again some bolting from the name, and most adding more and more LMS functionality, Learning Platform is another. Absorb LMS – Slick system that achieves a top tier status. On the administration side, continues to be well done, but some metric data needs to be improved. I’d like to see more on the administration side, and while the system is top tier, to me it is still missing some data visualization tied to extensive metric data.

In the last few years, Learn Amp, showed up on my radar, and overall were under the radar for many folks – a system that was going to go places (they will).

Regardless, you did not buy an LMS, learning platform, LXP (in the last few years, oh, so long LXP – RIP), or training platform. Some offer it as a module – staying with the way of the legacy systems, such as Saba, SumTotal who offered PM or TM as a module. They didn’t always call it tasks.

Not your typical LMS, thus clearly slides in as a learning platform. Metrics are strong, with nice data visualization. Reporting is very good, metrics are solid, data visualization is solid, could be better. 10 Access LMS (Formally known as Unicorn LMS). Metrics and Reporting is solid. 12 Degreed.
