CBT Prior to online learning known then as WBT, and then the latter term of e-learning (vendors today, use it to refer to content that is online), there was CBT. In 2000, I built my own LMS for a company, and was hired to create an e-learning program for customer training, as well as run a training division with ILT still in play (blended).

We think this one has a relatively clear path to the Plateau of Productivity. We project that Badges will reach the Plateau of Productivity before xAPI, simply because Badges is a less ambitious standard than xAPI that clearly meets the very common use case of tracking completion of a learning activities across different platforms.
