But, the reason I constantly bash this into e-learning vendors heads is this just DON’T GET IT. HTML5 will be available on every one of those tablets, plus they will offer Flash (notable exception the iPad). Oh, yeah, social learning. LMS vendors who are moving into the Talent Management Space.

Innovation abounded and the push to focus on the “PPT to Flash&# angle continued to shine. Offers optional screen recording program ($99). You get the Flash code – YES – you get the code, which you can do whatever you want with it. 264 codec, which the iPad supports, and a few browsers for HTML5.

Because the industry as a whole is a lemming, I expect more vendors to come on board. HTML5 output. Right now I am doing a survey on authoring tools (more on this at the end of the post) and so far 100% of all respondents state that HTML5 output is required in an authoring tool. Audio Editing. Another small trend is providing advanced admin capabilities in the form of admins who have CSS, Flash,PHP or other languages. If I have those skill sets, why would I want to be an administrator of a LMS, when I could work free-lance or in some other programming capacity? The use of geolocation – available in HTML5.
