The problem though was that folks who had the authorware and so forth experience AND/OR folks who were ID and e-learning developers were stuck. Time consuming. Publish or Perish.

The format you are seeking, is for them (the prospect) is to extract three to five key takeaways or items that are “must know” from that paper based you are handing them. Anyway, joy was not there, because it required double the work. Trying saying that 10 times. .

While I have seen a few that give off the “rapid build” appearance, unless you have experience with solutions in the past like Authorware, MacroMedia Director, or similar brethren, you will face some serious challenges. Hierarchy/Tree view – Focused on course elements, objects, etc. If you are new, you can build.

Widgets are specially formatted Flash swf files that know how to communicate with the host Captivate project. These are very similar to Flash components and Authorware Knowledge Objects, in that developers are able to create pre-configured logic and visual components which accept parameters when inserted into Captivate.
