If I am a potential customer, I would expect nothing less to come out of the vendor’s mouth on their product and user friendliness. Some vendors who have failed to deliver, in my opinion, a user friendly system, due to front end or back end (admin side), or sometimes both. If I am vendor, whose product is paid (i.e.

Someone did the instructional design, someone else worked on graphics, and then we had a programmer who built the courses in Authorware or some other application. Free tutorials. There are thousands of tutorials on sites like Youtube and Screenr. More Than 100 PowerPoint Tutorials & a Free Template.

Tutorials when opening the product – Good, but. No SaaS – While the e-learning industry as a whole is going into the cloud, AT vendors as a whole are staying with desktop, even though they have features such as notes (ideal for collaboration, SME peer review in the cloud). Some AT vendors have removed it as well.

Will it replicate those craving for an Authorware return? On the app side, the product has a nice tutorial for that, actually it has a nice one for the course creation too. Each and every vendor who made this list should be rewarded with a “Hip, Hooray” or a badge with a funny looking graphic on it. Bottom Line.
