Computers weren’t fast enough to play video, nor were the hard drives large enough – even though the brochure for my stock IBM AT said it contained a “whooping 20 MB hard drive” – so we used a videodisc player connected through a serial cable. After all, she used state-of-the-art technology when she taught – chalk, blackboard, eraser.

That said, quite a few products promoting “leaderboards”, “points” and the infamous “badges” Mobile – it was in full bloom, even with products that were ILT focused. I was surprised though that mobile from an e-learning standpoint did not crush. Training Reinforcement Tools – Big!
