Global collaboration can be very small; can just be one teacher and one class with blogs or Skype. With blogs, move students from passive lurking on a class blog –> blog comments first. Examples: student blogging project , 10 weeks with a challenge to push students more each week. A 12-year-old student reflects on blogging after 6 months. Collaborating on a wiki isn’t the same as writing on a blog. Feed Reader.

This week is about blogging. I just think its time to take a look at blogging again since I, and others from what I hear, seem to be neglecting blogs, feed readers, etc, in favor of microblogging. I'm actually writing this blog post from Amplify.com which is an interesting hybrid tool. I'm hoping to crank out at least 2 or 3 blog posts before Friday because I'll be headed to the Blogworld & New Media Expo in Vegas. But that's not blogging.

But blogs can also be beneficial in blended learning training internally, for employees. A way around this is to introduce blog writing as a blended learning training exercise. Then task each one to write a blog about a key business problem and how they would solve it step by step.
