I've basically limited myself to eLearningGuild and ASTD conferences. on all kinds of businesses. Discussion will emerge/increase that SCORM doesn't fit next generation learning. I still believe SCORM doesn't fit the world of eLearning 2.0, Those seem to have been a good replacement for my conference time.

Ten Predictions for eLearning 2008

Wiki + SCORM + Add-ins will become more common for easy authoring. And because it ties directly to metrics that matter to the business, this will get significant attention during the year. Interestingly, they both were originally considered rapid authoring tools but now are becoming THE authoring tools.
