Five years is not very far into future, but in terms of technology things can change immensely in that amount of time. Just think of how learning technology has changed in the past five years. We designers/developers won't be limited to working only on the computer in which we loaded our Flash CS10. on the cloud.

They provided just enough to make us dangerous with HTML, Flash, Photoshop and Authorware. One thing you can count on, if they already have an LMS you are stuck with it unless they already had plans to change the LMS and you are the sucker, I mean expert, who is to select and implement a new one. I have experienced both situations.
