Before you dive in to all-out scenario development, put the scenario to pen and paper and flesh it out there. Nothing kills a scenario faster than an unrealistic, too-shallow, and unchallenging story arc that was clearly developed by instructional designers who have no connection to the reality of the learner’s situation.
