Variables, actions, objects, free-form, templates. RLOs (reusable learning objects – albeit we are talking courses and content). Learning Curve. While beginners could jump in and start to create a course, I see it more as a product for instructional designers and some e-learning developers. Learning Curve.

As the evolution of e-learning continues, the rapid content authoring tools (RCAT) market follows suit. This is a growing market with new vendors showing up, but at the same time, others disappearing. Is it PowerPoint converted to Flash? Microsoft Word converted to Flash? Templates with some learning objects?
