And yeah there are vendors who will taut that they are in X list or Y rankings and thus should be included. This isn’t a beauty contest, nor a pay for play (I NEVER accept that, nor play that game, nor do I accept any referral fees or whatever some vendors offer for recommending them). Not everyone gets in. But I digress.

That said, there were some hiccups and from an entire vendor wise (expo here) angle, some unique and some, uh. This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . I see way too many vendors think a web site is all they need and people will find them.

A big expo with several LMS vendors along with a few HR focused vendors who had a “learning component” to their systems. SumTotal by Skillsoft. For folks who use their product, I was told by a salesperson that xAPI is not on their radar, nor is any type of on/off synch mobile app. . Cornerstone OnDemand.
