I include Learning Portals, LCMSs, as part of the mix. Big Dog (Saba, SumTotal, Plateau, Cornerstone OnDemand, Learn.com). These standout to me.

Multi-Tenant: Some people refer to it as portals and sub-portals. If you are someone who is considering some of the bigger dogs like Cornerstone or SumTotal, I would seriously look at these guys. eLogic Learning ($$-$$$) – Another solid performer who continues to get better and better. Unlimited portals. Their product is more geared towards a human capital management system, especially with the BizX Suite.

With its m-learning capability including on/off synch and rather solid UI, the product continues to be an effective solution. While the pricing is outrageous and the Saba as a whole seems better suited as a HCM, their learning suite is a better alternative than those who want Cornerstone OnDemand. 18 Upside Learning.

I am projecting the analytical part to significantly increase and to expand the capability to use solutions such as online storage (which a few vendors are offering) and product like Dropbox and CalenGoo. Because students are already using such products in their daily lives. Social Learning. Parent Portal.

For example, Cornerstone On Demand, 46.6M When it comes to say Cornerstone On Demand – they have yet to become profitable. One vendor is months behind their release schedule.
