In my experience, small businesses (500 or less users) are the ideal audience for a low cost system. This does not mean that anyone who has more than 5,000 users should be a system in the low cost mode, but rather these systems are definitely suited to this business size. Are there low cost systems for the education market?

Leader board within “Connect” their social learning component – however, I did not see any type of incentive tied to it. Social Learning in general – can’t anyone come up with something fresh? E-commerce. PDF, docs, clips – nearly the same as resources – again, repetitive.

Less functionality and features than their standard counterparts, but these features may be “social learning&# , or “ability to tie a user to a course&# or “creating learning paths for each user&# or “assessment tools&# , etc. Cost for entire system is extremely low compared to a solid standard system.
