The downside to training management products is the inability to upload any other 3rd party authoring tool or courses from an off the shelf vendor. Yeah, you can upload word docs, PPT, etc. Actually, I do blame: Vendors who still post RFP templates on their site – which by the way tend to be geared towards themselves.

Unless you ask, you may get an e-mail with the pricing in it, a word doc with pricing, an excel file with pricing, really it is all over the map. Vendors should include an SLA. Your RFP/RFI. Sadly, many proposals are too generic, just cut and paste.
