I call it ELGC (E-learning game changer). HTML5 – Game Changer. Without boring you to death on the details of HTML5, what I will say is this will be a game changer in our industry for a number of reasons. and YouTube (beta) are already offering videos in HTML5 players. Improved interactivity over Flash.

In the webinar, I brought up how LMS vendors were themselves perpetuating the myth of the bad things of social media (which is a necessary component of social learning), so, rather than identify the facts and data to potential clients who are concerned about social media and thus social learning, they instead do not include it in their system.

Samsung Galaxy S is expected to be the first real challenger to the iPad, it runs on Android OS, offers Flash 10.1 Again, the iPad runs only with HTML5, not Flash 10.1. True, the other tablets and Samsung offer Flash 10.1, but they offer HTML5 too. We know that if the browser supports Flash 10.1, Dolphin HD?

Another small trend is providing advanced admin capabilities in the form of admins who have CSS, Flash,PHP or other languages. The use of geolocation – available in HTML5. Mobile Learning. What if your LMS/LCMS is using extensively or some component of Flash? How will you handle HTML5? Two levels of thought.
