M-learning support, assignment grader can be offline and then re-synched online, but courses can not be online/offline. Unlimited portals. Classroom mgt, event mgt.,

Go back a decade or more and check out the number of systems that offered modules you could add to your system. Just as it was back then, most modules were actually in the system but turned off. When you bought the module it was turned on. What Modules are being seen today as they were back in the early 200os?

Still listed as a social learning management system, they have made some new strides that really work for me. Mercury Module – specifically the banners component, although new stories is interesting – it already exists in quite a few systems, same thing with contests and polls. Back from the dead, I surmise.

Course marketplace – LMS vendor offers courses from 3rd party vendors – you buy it auto installs, also end users can create their own courses to use within the system – either offer for free or fee based – one click install. M-Learning – native app, online/offline synchronization – supports HTML5.

There is a growing list of vendors, including small/mid size that are adding talent management components that match the Big Dog systems. A couple of vendors have added HRIS modules. It is interesting to note, that many of the vendors are targeting the SMB space, especially the small size (less than 500 employees) market.

They involved talent management, “hello and goodbye” with vendors, social learning, upswing in mobile learning, new feature sets in the authoring tool space, flat lining in web conferencing and standalone platforms. LMSs/LCMS/CMS/learning platforms in commercial and open space continued their presence.
