After viewing the Plateau TMS, my concerns in one area have been eliminated, in others, not so much. Plateau LMS is a Talent Management System, made up of four modules. Plateau Learning. I must have been sleeping, but when did “learning” slide under Talent Management? When did “learning, which is training” become a defacto component of Talent Management? Better yet, when did “learning/training” become a component of Human Capital Management? What about Kenexa?

Back in the days, the Plateau platform was ghastly awful. Jam – which is their social learning and collaboration tool. I love their training academy which comes with the system and enables clients to view various videos on “how to” do XYZ in the system. Features include: E-commerce at no additional cost.

Some vendors who have failed to deliver, in my opinion, a user friendly system, due to front end or back end (admin side), or sometimes both. Plateau Talent Management System. Vendors nowadays provide training early on after you get the product, and then assume that the person will remember everything weeks later.

Indeed, many traditional eLearning vendors ventured into the market though not in the volume or with the fanfare we had postulated twelve months ago. We continue to read a lot about it but haven’t witnessed any practical use cases deployed out in a production learning environment for training-centric Augmented Reality.
