Another player in the space that not only fits the build of an extended enterprise but also as a multi-tenant. I have some concerns about how SAP will play with them (right now they are separate, but who knows). I dislike that the platform does not automatically include at no charge a SSO between it and SAP. That said, why is this happening: A significant (over 90%) of vendors are holding off this year and at least part of next year from optimizing their solution to the iPad. While I cannot say who they are, there are a couple LMS vendors that are ripe for acquisition, and it wouldn’t be a shock to see them in new hands by Q2 2011.

Branding – the only difference is some vendors still charge for this – my question: why? HRIS integration – At one time systems said ERP integration with SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft for example, now the new buzz: HRIS integration – Lawson. The reasons include: They aren’t the only players in town.

Native video player. Why isn’t: SuccessFactors – I really liked this system in my previous rankings, but with a few new items I am hearing in relation to SAP, it drops it out of the top ten. Specifically: No SSO between SF and SAP. Workflow engine. None I can really think of – that is why it is #1.
