This was my third TK in a row to attend, and as usual it contained some WOW on the part of some products, some “huh” on others and even a few “boos” Overall Expo Analysis. Nice selection of vendors – in general. I heard this happen to two vendors. Product Time. Yowsa Product.

The product comes in two flavors – a simple and a more robust. SaaS product – but here’s the thing – if you want the course to be in your LMS – it can but it still sits on the ZZ server side and not in your system (should note that the LMS connectivity is available only in the $40/u version).

I was really impressed with a few new products. A unique product that uses the power of animated figures. Oh, did I mention you can create your own character right in the product, including changing outfits and much more. SaaS product and streaming included. Let’s jump right in for the game action. TOUCHDOWN.

However, with ASTD’s TechKnowledge 2011, starting next week, I’m going to hold off until after TK11, to write on virtual worlds. What I like about conferences is the ability to see the latest products and hear the pitches from the vendors. Regardless, you need to have your product out and showing.

I check out the giveaways (hey, at least I’m honest) and gauge if the vendor has a demo or just a CD/DVD with their product – for you to take back with you to your room. Always ask the vendor if it is available to buy and “live” I recently attended a trade show, whereas the vendor showed off their new product.

Vendors are assessing as well. ASTD TechKnowledge. The show is solely focused on e-learning and the vendors come from all over the world. On the vendor side, nice set to select from although on the freebie side – always is lame. Vendor Angle. A must for any e-learning vendor.
