After upgrading to Flash Player 10.1, Un-install Flash Player 10.1 using "Start: Control Panel: Add or Remove Programs," restart your computer and then install the previous version of Flash Player - 10.0.45.2. Select Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX and click 'Remove' button.

Standalone version (exe): not sure what the future will be when Flash Player has died. Can be more time consuming although with good preparation lot is already automatic.
