Most eLearning authors embed much of their learning experience in Flash movies– which are incompatible with Apple’s mobile devices. In order to have their eLearning compatible across all devices, many producers are turning to the HTML5 stack of technologies. HTML5 is increasingly compatible with all of the major browsers.

Right now I am doing a survey on authoring tools (more on this at the end of the post) and so far 100% of all respondents state that HTML5 output is required in an authoring tool.
