The Web is Not Public.But maybe It Should be or maybe Not

No free speech applies here. It rides on commercial pipes owned by for-profit companies and we are largely at their whim. Second Life/Linden Lab is really just a Web-hosting company that lives in San Fran. Isn't there always some kind of central square in a mall where either Santa sits or performances take place?
