Storyline can easily be tied at the #1, but despite all its cool components, I have heard from a few vendors that they are facing some issues when end users try to view it on an iPad via the vendor’s LMS.

Feature sets – they have to be more than PPT to Flash or add an audio clip and video clip to the course. New features include a documentary maker and iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad developer kit (awesome!). Fully utilizies the iPad/iPad2 experience. If they are stale – seriously do you deserve to the best?

Just the first 2 would get you pretty far, audience reach-wise, but factor in the different devices (the myriad Android phones, various iPhones, the iPad, etc.) Plan for offline use. If you’re designing mobile learning content, you’ll also want to design for offline use. to YouTube and Vimeo files) don’t work offline at all.
