Even with the limited interaction I had actually on camera, I still felt more connection with colleagues in Amsterdam than I have felt in all my WebEx meetings. A PowerPoint presentation will work just as well with WebEx (or just a recording). It’s not quite meeting face-to-face, but it’s pretty darn good.

Interactive and engaging webinars- between who and who?

I'm currently using Webex for webinars, unfortunately we discovered (quite late!) The webinar started with the observation that webinar participants are prone to start multitasking: check mails, water the plants etc. that there is a maximum of 7 active microphones, and the first time we had serious problems. So it was not a tape.

To me Real Time Collaboration (RTC) solutions like Macromedia Breeze , Centra , WebEx , Elluminate etc replicate oh so many of the problems we face in the traditional face-to-face model. 2) During - it's online so of course all of us are going to be multitasking while attending. Lets start the conversation before the event! (2)
