I was a victim of the e-Learning Hype Cycle of 2000/2001. I would like to ask: Why should an e-learning system have chat, groups, calendars and forums when there are Yahoo meesengers, eGroups, etc. What dominant designs will emerge as we get through this next phase in the industry? I think rapid e-Learning will be a big one.
