Don Kirkpatrick proposed a model for measuring the outcomes of training. However, go to any training conference, including ASTD’s own International Conference and Exhibition, and you don’t hear much about instructor-led training or self-paced learning. Standardized courses and workshops multiplied. Workers are disgruntled.
