LMS Products of the Year 2010. Big Dog (Saba, SumTotal, Plateau, Cornerstone OnDemand, Learn.com). Saba does a good job as well. Extended Enterprise 2010 System of the Year. The product is Flash based, which is nice, but lack of mobile optimization for the iPad. My runner-up is Operitel’s LearnFlex LSP.

The Swipe Rule – Vendors need to swipe your card to follow up with you; which is fine; but I cannot tell you the number of times when I was a Director of Training and told the vendor in the face to call me or email me, and never heard from them. Virtual classrooms and smart-boards are used in a more student-centered way (not putting all the attention to one person up-front=bad). open up exciting opportunities for people to access relevant information where and when they require it. Flash will still have an impact (at least in the area of mobile learning).
