Firm spending on learning and development has been volatile since 2008, declining and recovering in reaction to the global financial crisis and its abatement. Learning content will be transformed for easier consumption. Success metrics for learning will be based on content access, views, involvement and downloads. Learning leaders will be more focused on relevancy of information. This is especially true when the content is more about compliance than performance.
