Rustici Engine has supported xAPI (the Experience API) since 2011 when we created the initial version for ADL. The last big overhaul we made to xAPI data storage in Engine was in 2015. Well, yes indexes can help but – they have their limits. We always expected the volume and type of data to cause scalability issues.

This Instruction replaces the 2006 version of DoDI 1322.26, “Development, Management, and Delivery of Distributed Learning,” which mandated (as opposed to advised) the use of SCORM in all eLearning technology used by the DoD. We are excited because this is the culmination of a lot of work for many people at both ADL and Rustici Software.

” Okay, with that out of the way, let’s get right down to the forecasts for 2015. One of the most interesting items which presents to me an unknown variable is CMI-5, a compliance standard (formally with AICC) now headed up by ADL. At least not for 2015. #1 In fact, I expect huge growth for 2015.

Here is an overview that will help you out. A course is SCORM compliant when it meets the requirements of the standard set by the ADL. Yes there are two version of SCORM: SCORM 1.2 The latest version is SCORM 2004 but both are still in use. In fact the oldest version (SCORM 1.2) SCORM and SCORM compliant.
