If you needed to do something in a piece of software lately, how did you find out how to do it? Maybe you looked for a video but that’s not exactly the most efficient way for software support. Or perhaps you dug out the user guide and looked up something that sounded like what you needed to accomplish.

Or better yet a video that goes so fast that you can’t keep up and the process is simply too complex for a video. We like creating a safe environment to learn with software simulations. Those sound a lot better than sitting and listening. Training doesn’t have to be that way, though. How about that?

They’re slightly improved over software tutorial videos but nowhere near as comprehensive or high quality as a software simulation eLearning course. Software tutorial videos aren’t ideal for learning company software. I say sometimes because they aren’t always.

We’ll go over that a bit more but it is exactly what it sounds like but with a performance twist. Space It If you do something once then you probably remember a little bit from it unless it was a TikTok video that’s 10 seconds long. It doesn’t always have to be a huge video production that wastes your whole budget.

One of the reasons I got the iPad was so I could watch and show Camtasia videos on it - the larger 9.7 Sounds simple? Are you using ADDIE without realizing it?
