Adobe Presenter, one of the key rapid authoring tools in the Adobe eLearning suite , will be releasing an important product update in the next few weeks. Paresh Kharya, the PM for Adobe Presenter, has covered some of the key highlights of this release in his post on the Connect User Forum.

The new Quizmaker, in particular, is a welcome addition to the Articulate Studio Suite. Articulate also offers phenomenal technical support for Studio ‘09 both over the phone and in their community forum. Adobe Captivate costs $800 for a new license, or $359 for an upgrade from Captivate 5.5. Adobe Presenter.

And you don't always need a lot of built-in interactivity, because this can be provided in other ways, perhaps with a forum or a live discussion. The competition from Adobe Presenter (see my review ) is strong and that's the way it should be. I'm looking forward to seeing what both parties will dream up for 2010.
