is soooo much less about technology than about culture (Duh Mark, I know). I agree with Mark that there are fairly sizable organizational culture aspects to enterprise adoption of enterprise 2.0 / web 2.0 / eLearning 2.0. I think Mark missed the bigger barriers of Changing Knowledge Worker Attitudes and the work literacy gap.

In terms of finding people with experience on this, my first suggestion was using LinkedIn and particularly looking through LinkedIn Guide for Knowledge Workers , LinkedIn for Finding Expertise , and Searching for Expertise - LinkedIn Answers. Of course, there’s no easy answers here, but lots we can discuss and learn around this.

I tell them they need to go beyond dumb technology. Now it’s often more effective to take control by giving control, by letting “the invisible hand” self-organize worker learning. The organization establishes the goals and gives the workers flexibility in how to meet them. How workers learn now.
