Access means how do you create the content, build the course – either online or your desktop/company server, prior to output which can go to the “web&# , “LMS/LCMS&# , etc. SCORM or AICC. Some vendors may state “SCORM/AICC or AICC/SCORM&# – means the same thing. E-Learning 24/7.

What about AICC? Unless you purchased a tool that is only AICC compliant, which in that case, time to ditch it and get another one. If you purchased an AICC only, then you have to find a system that is AICC compliant. It can be SCORM too, but the AICC is the key. . What about PENS or some other compliance standard?

Easy to use interface and supports SCORM and AICC. #18 No reason, I just love saying that) Mzinga shows up with a true social learning authoring tool. A few vendors say “social learning” but it is often far from it. AICC, SCORM and PENS support. Supports AICC and SCORM. Not with Publisher.

OR you can create courses SCORM 2004 courses within their tool which is in the “cloud&# and do the same thing. Also SCORM 1.2 & AICC. Sure, other vendors will say you can do that too, but you have to open each object file to get it. iPod, mobile phones, YouTube, message boards, e-mail. Create SD and HD movies.

Kinect technology was not created at a Microsoft lab, rather it was created by a group of folks in Cambridge, England. For vendors creating standalone apps for the masses on a variety of offerings or new product lines, costs will need to be significantly lower, otherwise it will not be successful. Peer review.

Cannot upload courses/content created by another content authoring tool. E-mail notification – becoming very common. Most tend to be proprietary, but I have seen a few that are SCORM/AICC and yes even PENS. However, just as anything that occurs in the e-learning space, new features are beginning to appear.
