Two minuses for me though is lack of mobile apps (everyone does mobile responsive) and is miss on stronger analytical data and data visualization, which while the system does provide solid reporting and analytics, the way the world is heading in the corporate space, a system needs more to match it.

Course standards include xAPI and PENS, besides the standards of SCORM. . I will say that I’m not a fan of the analytics angle, because it opens up the approach that you could use the system in a somewhat manner of an LCMS or mini LMS (many SaaS authoring tools follow that path – and I dislike that too).

They will counter by saying our customers do not want an LMS, but hey, we are adding features like an LMS, because our audience is asking for it (those folks from L&D who are using their LMS for only regulatory/compliance and/or assigned learning). LMSs were built for the latter, not for someone to use it as compliance only.

Compliance and Regulatory is similar to the LMS, but reduced significantly down, and built-in authoring tool exists as well (although most LEPs do not have one or if they do, it is similar to LMSs in that, it is basic to use). Don’t worry though, I have that feature in Reports/Analytics ( time tracking). Thus, this function.
