Now, why doesn’t a vendor mention this information to a potential client, at least the first point – I can understand holding off on the second point, for selling purposes. E-Learning 24/7. Yes, I love consumer slate tablets.

You could count on your hand the number of vendors even looking at it, and I’m not just talking LMSs/Learning Portals, but content authoring tools and other products. I recall speaking in November on a webinar panel and being somewhat chided over the fact that I kept repeating the importance of mobile learning and tablets.

Here are the current breakouts: Google Chrome 8 and future editions, Microsoft IE9 and Apple Safari 5 supports h.264, Chrome 8 plus future editions support VP8 – proprietary only to Google. E-Learning Vendors, Giveaways and Drawings. Not every browser supports the same video codecs, a downside to HTML5.
