In terms of finding people with experience on this, my first suggestion was using LinkedIn and particularly looking through LinkedIn Guide for Knowledge Workers , LinkedIn for Finding Expertise , and Searching for Expertise - LinkedIn Answers. Of course, there’s no easy answers here, but lots we can discuss and learn around this.

think some of the descriptions can be used in a prescriptive way of getting out of our industrial, hierarchical mindset and moving to an enterprise 2.0 m not and I gave him the standard advice about looking through LinkedIn Guide for Knowledge Workers , LinkedIn for Finding Expertise , and Searching for Expertise - LinkedIn Answers.
