To measure positive change at Level 2, we can give pre and post quizzes to assess if knowledge on a specific subject has increased. The best Level 3 assessments involve the evaluation of the behavior of the learner by others – a supervisor, mentor, or peer – for more objective assessment. Probably not. Level 2: Learning.

The Kirkpatrick four levels of training evaluation. This checklist is a tool for assessing the quality of the course before it is deployed. Kirkpatrick and Kirkpatrick (2006) compare it to measuring customer satisfaction and note that when learners are satisfied with training, they are more motivated to learn.
