Janhavi has spoken at various industry conferences (including AICC, ASTD, eLearning Guild) and local groups on topics pertaining to online learning. One area where these tools will continue to invest in will be HTML5 and mobile responsive output. The catch though is that not all browsers support the accessibility constructs in HTML5.

Trivantis – Lectora Inspire – the product now supports HTML5, and comes with templates for tablets including the iPad – which is a good thing, since I will have my iPad with me.

It will have checklists and templates too. In all the years I have attended and have known about ATD (formally ASTD), this year is by far the most in terms of e-learning vendors, especially those in the LMS space. Works only in Flash at the moment, so forget about seeing those courses on any iOS device. Bottom Line.

Most rapid elearning tools are like Articulate Presenter and convert PowerPoint slides to Flash (and soon HTML5). Or if you’re using other products you’ll add the Flash output to the PowerPoint slide. Make your templates match. July 18: Knoxville, TN ( Smoky Mountain ASTD ). July 25: Portland, OR (ASTD).
