In fact, it’s kind of a rule of photography that your main subject shouldn’t be in the center. The above screenshot of my iPhone camera app taking a photo of the Harry Potter nerd toys on my desk shows the grid lines. But if it’s not in the center, where does it go? That’s where the rule of thirds comes in.

Things that are alive move, and that attracts more attention and engagement than still photos. So, you need something to really capture their attention literally like the first few seconds. This is actually different from what I was saying like, on the go, on mobile, short attention spans. It’s like a toy.
