The biggest challenge I set myself was to demonstrate features of Firefox, OpenOffice, Moodle, MediaWiki, Gimp, Audacity, eXe, FreeMind and Wink, some of which I had only recently downloaded. I probably screwed them up psychologically with this exercise but the results were interesting.
