Audio Recording and Editing. The ability to record audio in real time or post time makes a lot of sense and eliminates the need for using Audacity (albeit it is a wonderful and free product). I call it ELGC (E-learning game changer). HTML5 – Game Changer. Without boring you to death on the details of HTML5, what I will say is this will be a game changer in our industry for a number of reasons. and YouTube (beta) are already offering videos in HTML5 players. Improved interactivity over Flash.

But, the reason I constantly bash this into e-learning vendors heads is this just DON’T GET IT. HTML5 will be available on every one of those tablets, plus they will offer Flash (notable exception the iPad). Oh, yeah, social learning. LMS vendors who are moving into the Talent Management Space.

Because the industry as a whole is a lemming, I expect more vendors to come on board. HTML5 output. Right now I am doing a survey on authoring tools (more on this at the end of the post) and so far 100% of all respondents state that HTML5 output is required in an authoring tool. Audio Editing. HTML5 templates.
