Right now Im sitting in the audience listening Deborah Adler, the designer whos Masters Thesis became the redesigned Target pharmacy bottles - Clear RX. I think the big take-away from this session is that she began with a problem, people taking the wrong medicine, and then selected as her starting point - the user - not the system.

previous rants on this topic ) Until I get some explanations though, Im pretty well amazed at the academics involved in this scheme. Do the writers/authors get paid? Im feeling stupid here because I just dont freaking get it! Usually the "peers" who review articles, arent paid or theyre paid very little.

Im surprised this hasnt happened sooner and isnt bigger. Im struck also by the announcement that the new version of the Kindle from Amazon.com is coming soon. The other good one is buying a $100 book, using it lightly for a term and then getting $25 back on it. Thats awesome. Really Mr McCoyd.youre surprised?
