I was using DazzlerMax and Authorware, which are superior offerings for creating courses. However, the product person who first saw the value of a TOC was correct – although that has gone by the wayside. Good ideas Saba – At the time, this was a brilliant idea. At the time, I hated it. It seems to make more sense.

Most of it came, via 3rd party providers, or what we referred to as “boutique shops” – think custom development (fee-based) that someone, company, government, institution, and so forth hired to create a course or courses. Thus, simulations, courses that were engaging/interactive (in many cases) was available. BB dominated.

Q : I am curious on why Cornerstone On Demand, Saba and SumTotal do not appear in your top twenty lists even though they appear on other sites as the best products in the market. Saba - A solid system, but IMO (in my opinion) better suited for talent/performance management. So, back for another installment.
