My latest take on those three vendors (plus one) are: Cornerstone On Demand – I have seen the new UI and I like what I saw. Some have ads, which can be a downer for some folks, others require the person to either use VOIP or call in with a non toll free number. . Especially when some vendors use Rackspace or other server farms.

If I am a potential customer, I would expect nothing less to come out of the vendor’s mouth on their product and user friendliness. The biggest problem facing the industry in the past few years are the lack of course authoring tools for e-learning developers and instructional designers. Sure, you can use the extensive list of tools on the market, but for those who want real power and complexity ala from the days of Authorware, pickings are slim. Bottom Line.
