My blogging tool, is a major part of my learning process. Search is a great part of my learning, looking up anything I hear about and don’t know. Duck has become my preferred search engine, because it’s claim to not track is comforting to me. Google Docs. Duck Duck Go.

Backchannels – what’s all the fuss, anyway?

While there, I engaged in a practice I had never before used known as a backchannel, via the well known micro blogging tool Twitter. Then, anyone can search “#ispi” and locate all of the comments being made on that backchannel. Your comments are also available for others to see by searching for the particular hashtag.

If your population has not adopted a tool yet, do you have a responsibility to the individual to show them tools that can live beyond their engagement at the company? Do you show them the internal blogging tool only? Allow it to be easily searched. So no problem if their Wiki is tied to the LMS.
